Delicious BBQ Made Easy

This little beauty was my first smoker. My in-laws gave it to me for Christmas a few years back and I love it. Being new to smoking, it took about 3 runs until I had the Brinkman water smoker turning out some of the best BBQ chicken around. It is well constructed and easy to use. The review from the guy who bought his in Canada is deceptive. These smokers have no smoke stack so the smoke HAS to "leak" out from around the lid--thats the way its designed to work. I can cook 8 chicken halves on it at a time (four whole fryers split down the breast). The method that I've found works best for me is to fill my charcoal chimney lighter up to capacity and dump them in the base once they're ready. I then cover the hot coals with enough to just about fill the base--let those burn uncovered for about 10 minutes. The whole cooking chamber can be set up while the coals are getting ready--fill your water basin & place it in, put your lower rack in & add the meat, top rack in & add the meat. I use wood chuncks not chips for my smoker. I just add 2-3 fist sized chunks of oak or hickory to the coals right before I place the cooking chamber over the coals. I keep the lid of while moving the chamber to make sure I dont spill any water into my coals--but place it on as soon as its set. Then I get my chair and a few cold beverages and watch as the magic happens. Thats it! Three and a half hours later open her up and dinner is served! NOTE: the first couple of times I used the smoker I used way too much wood--thinking it should be smoking constantly. You get a perfect smoke flavor and ring with a small amount of well aged DRY wood. It'll smoke good for about 45 minutes and from my experience--thats pleanty. Outside temperature does make a difference--colder temps require more coal a hot afternoon uses less coal. Trust me, this little smoker can put out some BIG taste. I've even used this smoker for local charity BBQ rib competitions and placed in each event! I say get one and get your taste buds ready!

I have had this grill for years. I bought it as a clearance item, and to this day it is great. You can interchange everything and use it for a grill or smoker, steamer, etc. It's not really that big on the rack, but the flavor result is great. I have just used plain old Matchlight charcoal, and I throw a handful of woodchips inside and the flavor is great. It leaves your food with such a full flavor, much more than any gas grill. You might pressure wash it once a year to keep it from rusting out, but otherwise-enjoy!

This is like having a transformer at your side. You can bbq, Steam, Smoke all in one its a great little product and is excelent if you dont have a lot of meat to do at once. I have used the steaming tray to marinate meats while they cook. I have cooked a whole turkey steamed and smoked in 12 hours I beleive the turkey was about 25#. This smoker is a must have if you want to prepair a meal. Not so good for smoking compleat large game.

We ordered this shipped from WalMart to our local store. It took about a week to arrive. We assembled it in less than an hour, using basic tools. This replaced a smoker we've used for many years. It seems solidly constructed, and I'm sure it will survive four or five years of intermittent use. At roughly $100, it's a good deal.

Nice product for the money. The top lid is a little off shape, hard to fit it into place at first.

I bought this smoker in canada for 65$ canadian. 100 bucks is way to much! This smoker had to be heavily moddded to get a cook over 4 hours. It has no factory air control vents and leaks like a siv. If you get them for about 40 bucks and have some mechanical skill then it would be a good unit for you.
